| It's not difficult to figure out where I developed my interest in minerals. I spent a good deal of time in my earlier years doing field collecting in the New Haven and Meriden Mineral clubs. Favorite locations were the Portland pegmatites, Roxbury Iron & Garnet Mines, various CT Trap Rock Quarries and the Cheshire Barite and Copper Mines. My interest in minerals led me to Golden and a 3 year stint at the Colorado School of Mines. After having enough Coors and Miners Football I moved back to CT to finish degrees in Engineering and Mgmt. I'm now helping my parents with the business and giving the web a shot to showcase some of our favorite specimens as well as others that are for sale. Photographers we are not though as the site develops hopefully so will our skill with the lens! |
